Exploring “Freedom of a Christian”

Hello members and friends of Mt. Carmel! I hope you are well and am praying for all of our safety in the midst of this pandemic. If you’re like me (that is able to avoid travel for my work and self-quarantining inside your house), you may have found yourself with a bit more time on your hands—perhaps for things like reading.

It is in that spirit that I have formatted my break-down of Martin Luther’s “Freedom of a Christian” into a downloadable PDF. “Freedom of a Christian” is one of Luther’s more famous works and a phenomenal treatise on the subjects of faith, power and freedom. I offer my review of it in this time in the name of having more reading time on our hands and maybe learning more about the historic theologian’s teachings with which the Lutheran Church identifies.
