Children, Youth and Families

For children, youth, and families, there are many ways to deepen community, to LEARN God’s Word that forms us, binds us, and gives us identity. Learning God’s Word is about more than just learning scripture; it’s about learning who Jesus is through each other and our community.

Join children from two years old through fifth grade in learning about our faith and participating in fellowship and service. You don’t have to be a member to join us for Sunday school.  Meets Sunday mornings during the school year from 10:45–11:45 a.m.

Join in periodic special events planned and hosted by members, including making cards for homebound members and other intergenerational events.

Join families with children aged birth through fifth grade for socializing, learning, and discerning. Adults and teens interested in ministry to young families are invited to volunteer. This group meets informally throughout the year.

Join Mt. Carmel youth grades 6–12 and young adults for events throughout the year. Regular activities include Sunday morning Bible study and socializing during education hour, second Sunday coffee serving, and third Thursday movie night at 6 p.m. Friends and non-members are always welcome.
