Adult Faith Formation

For adults, there are many ways to deepen community and to learn God’s Word that form us, bind us and give us identity. Learning God’s Word is about more than just learning scripture; it’s about learning who Jesus is through each other and our community.

There are many learning and fellowship opportunities for groups. Want to get involved in a group? Contact us.

Learn more about our congregational opportunities in our Congregational Life Directory.

Adult Forum

During the school year, join other adults in learning about our faith and our world during the education hour after worship. Presentation subjects include books of the Bible, current events, life changes and more. Currently, Adult Forum is on hold.

Men's Bible Study

Join the men of Mt. Carmel for informal, no pressure discussions on the readings for the following Sunday. Share coffee, sweet treats and great conversation on how the scripture speaks to us. Meets every Wednesday at 6:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Good Fruits

The group meets for just an hour, and you’re invited to “come as you are.” There is a coffee and snack bar at the facility. Meets Tuesday, 2:30-3:30 p.m., Silverwood Park.

Group of Joy (Just Older Youth)

Join other individuals 55 and older for this social group.  Our gatherings include a devotion, light lunch, and some type of program. Registration is necessary for each meeting. Contact the church office for meeting notifications.

Mt. Carmelites Softball Team

Join fellow members in a local softball league. Don’t want to play? Then come out and be a fan! Plays weekly on Tuesdays from late April or early May to late July.
